I used to ride as well, I have well over 35k miles on the street and track on sport bikes.

If you almost get hit once a week, you are doing an incredibly poor job of "riding like everyone is out to kill you." In that number of miles I had maybe 2 close calls.

Tulsa is quite a bit different than Miami or the Beach.... Want to have a bit of fun, try to register for auto insurance with a Miami Dade address. Then compare that to what you pay in Tulsa. There is a reason for that :)

Our roads are narrow and over built. Our highways are almost always crowded due to wrecks and near wrecks. Ive been to Tulsa actually had a lake house there off Grand Lake. There just is not anything like Miami drivers and that is the reason insurance is expensive.

Crime actually is not as bad as people think it is, even though we did have the first zombie face eating attack in the US. :)

The guy in the RR was DUMB plain and Simple you can not play a hero when you have a MOB surrounding you. It's not about looking like a waffleswaffleswaffleswaffleswaffles in front of your wife and kids, but it's about being smart, playing smart and winning another day. You don't have a fucking gun or anything substantial to disable/eliminate at least 75% of the threat or the will to do it. Bikes can outrun and outmaneuver suvs. So if ur surrounded by 30-50 obvious daredevil andraneline junkies, got ur family n the car, The SMARTEST thing you could do is to keep calm. you may want to just move to the right n let the Bastards by. or STOP, lock your doors. and call the cops...get the instigator biker plate number

You don't have a a fucking gun, you're with the most precious thing in your life (your family) and you are you're overwhelmingly out numbered. THINK your way out of it. Violence is not, NOTT going to get you out of that situation. Don't put your family more in danger by going on a high speed chase on highway with fucking bikers.

Did anyone notice that towards the end of the initial video when the biker gets off his bike and runs to open the driver side door of the Range Rover AND the door opens.

Range Rovers just like many of todays high end vehicles have an anti carjacking saftey door locking feature that should have auto locked all doors including the drivers door.

It begs the question - Did the driver disengaged the lock. If so, why?

Actually, in California if you rear end someone it is your fault no matter what for not maintaining a safe distance. There was once an accident in front me and I slid into one of the cars...it was deemed my fault. This is not to say the law isn't flawed because it is and scam artists have been doing this for years but thats the law.

Not entirely true. If someone changes lanes, brakes and reduces YOUR stopping distance prior to colliding they are at fault. The majority of rear ends it is the rear persons fault, but there are some incidents where it is not.

Being a husband and a father and also the owner of a large 3 ton SUV. I WOULD HAVE DONE THE SAME THING.I have respect for bike riders,but not in this situation i dont.

Isn't it Funny how some people ( protect) others that they don't know,don't know there intentions or what their cable of? And their reasoning for doin so is because they know every fucking thing there is to know about every fucking everything..... If you think that the way these bikes where riding was ok..... You need to sell your bike.to the thugs on the bikes ,to bad more of them wasn't stupid enough to be infront of the truck when he took off.
