    God I haven't been to the wedge in ages. Do they still have the restrictions on when you can use "floatation devices"? I remember when those signs went up and pissed off a lot of people. When the Wedge gets that big its usually breaking about 50 yards out in 2 feet of water.

              I went there around 1988 or 1989 and with a boogieboard and did the same thing that guy did at :36 and had a mouth full of sand afterwards (hit the bottom). I got out and im lucky i didnt break my neck. I never went back lol. That shit was crazy. I was 20 years old,you know you think you can do anything at that age.haha
