I'm with Hamann Pilsner Urquell is so fuckin good. But i stick to local canadian brews. Lucky Lager is the best cheap beer we have here. Has flavour and is cheap, can't get much better.

fwiw, Rogue Shakespeare Stout is the best beer known to man. You can get DAMN good micros all over the US (although the East Coast is severly demented when they refer to Sam Adams as a micro lol).
Portland, OR + most microbreweries within the limits of any city in the world = ftw

All bier is good bier in moderation. My list is dependant on location of the bar, I'm in. I like to do the local flavors.

I got some bitburger for free once... It's still sitting in my fridge :P

I consider myself and alcoholic along with all my friends (I've cut down lately, only because my car is down so I don't go out drinking every night) but even out of my crew of guys that will drink anything, the bitburger tastes like shit.

These are guys who will drink warm foamy budweiser, old skunky beers, most of them will drink half empty bottles lying around at a party (it's a sin to waste beer). And still nobody wants to drink bitburger (I actually got it for free. My dad's hotel had a bunch of germans for the ironman, so they bought german beer. Nobody wanted to drink it, so they gave it to us for free.)

I used to do the whole "beer snob" thing, but man, I grew out of it, why bother anymore? The over-hopped microbrews & thick stale imports got old.

                              Heineken as a "standard"
Yuengling when I'm on the coast in MD, Jersey or PA
Dos Equis when I'm downing something spicy
Warsteiner O'fest when it's on tap and I have a couple of brats or a big pretzel.

                              Cheap & easy.

To me its not so much about being a "beer snob", its about having some decent flavor to it.

My regulars at home right now seem to be Stella Artois, Shiner Bock and Dos Equis (Lager, not the dark). When we go out, it all depends on what the place has on tap. Most places have Guinness these days, so I get that often.

I'll drink a Diet Coke before I have a Bud Light or something like that.

And Charlie, Yuengling is a good one, they just dont sell it around my house. I get it sometimes when we are in Florida.
