So the ABS and Traction Control light is on in my gf's Rabbit. I'm not sure what year it is, exactly. With winter coming on she'd like to have them working. I haven't had a real look at it yet myself. She had it to the dealership a while back and got an estimate but can't find it.
From everything I've read online I'm going to start by looking for chafed or broken wheel speed sensors. I'm hoping I get off lucky and it's the easy/cheap repair.
I've also heard of ABS modules (which I don't think would explain the TC light) and for some reason a bad MAF setting those codes as well.
Also it gets shit gas milage, like 450km per tank, which I think is low for a newer car, it's the 2.5l 5cyl, not sure if that's normal for those things or not.
