balanced 911? rofl. Early 911s might as well had the engine towed on a trailer behind the car they were so far back.
My point exactly. Unbalanced ......you have a engine/transaxle unit in the rear (weight doesnt change)and the fuel tank in the front of the car that goes from being full to empty and it changes the way the car handles (over steer/under steer).I know any car will have this issue but more so with these cars. 944/928 have front engine/ rear transaxle unit more so balanced vehicle.

A guy that bought my old vert seats let me drive his non-turbo 944 that he said he picked up for like 1500 if I recall. The car needed some new bushings but was still pretty impressive in some short sweepers..

Yeah, 911's handle like shit and never won any races. It's amazing porsche sold any with their on track record !
ughhh my buddy picked up an 83 (i believe it was) 944 for like 2300 bucks... looked pretty solid but i was fixing it for him more than he was driving it. wheel bearings, window motors, electrical issues, idle/leak issues etc etc. it was decently fun to drive but for the money it was a turd.
id say if you found a well sorted one with a good history and maintenance it'd be a fun car. i also second the motion there is no cheap porsche, cause even if its cheap initially to buy you're going to pay down the road.
i wouldnt get one unless it was one of those cars that tickle your fancy and the amount of money you put in doesnt matter.

Not saying that bro,im not stupid. I know porsche has been racing before the dawn of man and winning title after title after title. Thats not the point, go drive a 911 (not a new one,91 and older)then go drive a 944 turbo or 928S4 or GTS.
