Saab 9-2x aero...a wrx in a suit and tie. It's a bit harder to find in a manual than a WRX wagon but cost way less that a wrx wagon a low milage like 30-60k aero could run you like 11-14k, the 06 is the unicorn cause it has the 2.5l motor. I second the Legacy GT as well.

I have a 2005 Legacy GT as my daily, it's a nice car and you should be able to pick up a good one for $10-12K. They seem to hold their value really well, I bought mine 3 years ago for 10k and think I can sell it for nearly that much today. I was originally looking for a WRX and found the legacy locally. I think I'm going to be selling it in the spring to buy an E46 M3.

I'm just here to gloat even if current valves force me to keep it in the garage.

I paid less then 15K for this, with 76,000 on the clock.

And apparently have sucktastic wheel wells that have a hard time fitting big rubber for all the weight/power they have.

g8s are fucking rad though. I'd take one in a heartbeat, especially over the GTOs

If I was going to spend somewhere around 12k on a car, I'd probably end up in an S2000. A friend of mine had one for a while before I bought my E30. I seriously regret not buying that car from him when he was selling it.

Early model 2.0L screamer with the later model short-geared tranny = pure glory. That's one of few cars I'd sell my E30 for.

                                B5 S4... AWD, German build, twin turbo 2.7L v6, 6 speed manual...
My buddy had one and it was a sick car, he knew a guy that was a stage 3, about 500whp, now that car was FAST! 2nd gear AWD burnouts, and could keep pace with 600cc bikes!

                                Caddy CTS-V
Same buddy is currently on the hunt for a -V because of LS2 goodness...

Sadly 3 pedal versions of either are few and far between...

I would have suggested the e46 M and e39 M but others had already
