I tried to cover my name but this crappy phone... Sooo, nice to meet those of you who don't know me...
To the goods... 8" roof raise, 3" insulation all around, 8kw diesel gen set, rebuilt drive train/ turbo added, better highway differential, full log books, interior is outdated but very well fitted, very clean and no odors, I plan to update the furniture and change carpet/ wallpaper (unless selling, haha)... I really want to keep it and get the family into traveling, but cash is king... Wifey says a plane would be better...

Blunt, I just realized that one on pg 1 is yours! Nice! If my budget was there that would be something the ol lady might approve of (not that I need her approval haha)... Man, you could do a wrap on that thing to advertise...

Thanks yeah ... that was the plan.. I bought it with company money and stripped it last summer. just havent had time to wrap it yet.
Id really prefer something like you have though. I mean this suits my needs fine. Its my first motorhome. But eventually Id like to do a resto mod. Like you have. An older unit with modern running gear. So cool but im happy for now

There was a guy on vortex that turned one into an inclosed car hauler and drove it across country in his move I'll find pics tomorrow.

              It was pretty cool.

wow that short bus car hauler thing there seems like its a might over loaded. That is not a set up you would not want to get tangled up with the DOT I would think

I have thought about this many times over the years, buy an old bus, and convert it into a perfect all in one car hauler/sleep space for race events, etc. Just the idea seems like a ton of fun.

There are some real cool bus nut forums too... Never expected to see this on r3v but it's really cool to see others interested as well... Some pretty creative people out there, I'm sure the ppl of r3v can come up with some neat stuff for conversions!
