in canada, we could just use it to hold a can of beans, a mickey of whiskey and some beef jerkey.
you know, for those times your car gets stuck in the snow and half to wait a day for a tow truck, or someone on a sled to come pick you up!

That was going to be my other reason for using a "secret" compartment that doesn't involve hiding a firearm (since I know there are still people that cannot fathom how someone that isn't an upstanding policeman would carry a gun.)
Perfect place to put shit that you would rarely use such as a roadside emergency kit. I have a small bag used for aforementioned propose that I throw in the back of my truck. It would be nice to have a place to secure it that is out of the way and keeps it in one place.Comment

One more time:

What stops the cop from saying "I smell weed" to get his quote of violations for the day......
Then do the charges go away when no trace is found, like what is not happening in the case this thread stems from...............
Becasue after all if there was NO TRACE then how did they smell weed in it, since a smell is a trace right????Originally posted by FusionIf a car is the epitome of freedom, than an electric car is house arrest with your wife titty fucking your next door neighbor.

The law itself isn't the issue. Its the unequal application of the law. Here in SoCal, illegal aliens get pulled over and released because cops know they won't pay their fines anyway. If the law is broken, the law is broken and should be applied to everyone equally.
But hell, in California, an illegal alien was just allowed to practice law in our court system. In that and this, "the law" just makes a mockery of itself.

I am going to quote my self. Bull Shit harassment law is still bull shit, its vague and ambiguous. This is a fucking FELONY we are talking about here this shit is not to be taken lightly in the least
Originally posted by MEJust because he is acquitted of it does not mean this cop has not ruined this mans life or cost him 1000's or 10,000's of dollars on a needless legal defense because of some cop bending the rules trying to put a feather in his cap for some BS charges, rather than do the actual job a cop is supposed to do. Dose not mean this man or anyone else still has a job, or his reputation with in the community is not tarnished or totally destroyed. Just because you are acquitted does not mean there are no repercussions in real life.
They way you defend such laws and actions by the various levels of govt, leads me to point out that you are just the kind of person that Ben was talking about here

I wonder if the compartments in s2000's and Rx7's count, ya know, like if you were a stupid, uneducated owner, and didn't know they were there, could they be considered "secret"?Comment
