in my experience ive seen some drivers, not care about the customers car, or they dont have the skill to move cars. for example. ive seen my boss drive the quick pick on our dodge straight into the grill of a lady's van. and cars falling off the rollback. but. tonight i went on a call with our most experienced driver(12 years) and it was actually fun. he knows how get shit done and move cars safely and correctly.

the thing about driving tow trucks that i don't like is the hours, and the pay. if you have hobbies, or a dream, and you drive tow trucks for my boss. you can kiss them goodbye. because you'll be working all day everyday making 9 dollars an hour, with no breaks. and yes. no breaks. at all. and if you're at the shop not doing a wrecker call, you're pumping gas or changing tires. we do way to much shit for the amount of employees we have.

I mean no offense, and I'm sure you are an exception, but every tow truck driver I've met is a total scumbag and I never feel comfortable letting them take my car without riding along with them.

started a topic anyone drive tow trucks?

    anyone drive tow trucks?

I work at a full service gas station/ tire shop/ repair shop/ wrecker company.

and my boss is kinda forcing me to start to drive tow trucks. which doesnt bother me other than the fact that its 24/7 and people in michigan suck at driving we have 3 feet of snow on the ground and its -3 below zero.
i dont mean to rant but ive driven the trucks before and it f*cking sucks. i hate wreckers, and wrecker drivers. and now i have to be one.

i have to keep telling myself its more money to fund my e30 addiction.
Working...
