i have not seen it. however, according to the reviews, it is basically depicting how dependent we are on our technology(siri for example) the voice of his phone is scarlett johansen. she turns my crank any day.

Well I actually watched it and can say there's way more to it than a guy falling in love with his phone. That is what is seen on the surface and what I believe a child would get from the movie. Yes it is a display that we are too dependent on technology as the protagonist does fall in love with "her", however the struggle with self-identity and the problem of reality are the main themes I took away from it. Both the protagonist and the computer struggle to determine if their feelings are real. Once he finally accepts that his feelings are "real", she retreats realizing that she is more "real" than he ever will be.
I didn't really explain that well but maybe somebody can help me organize my thoughts.

It was alright, kinda depressing though and lost my interest once or twice. I don't think there's any deep meaning or interpretation to it. What you see is what you get.
