    Honda Kids in Southern California.

Ever since I've been into modifying cars, I've never liked hondas, but I generally would appreciate the little things that they did to their cars. This past weekend I see why they get such a bad rep. Went to a meet out by the Hooters in Moreno Valley and it was a good time until... One of the dumb asses from Honda crew went and broke into some business lady's car, stole her briefcase. The cops show up, some one gets arrested and someone else gets busted for possession. Then all these Hondafags started burning out in the parking lot and just general dumbassery. Needless to say, that meet won't be happening anymore unless it happens during the week when all those Honda kids have school the next day.

I'm done, just needed to rage out at the Honda Scene here in the Inland Empire, mostly Riverside and San Bernardino. Any similar experiences in general with idiots at meets?

I don't necessarily think there is anything wrong with Honda i.e nsx,s2k but the people that drive time are 99% of the time complete tools

I never go out, but the "scene" was all abuzz a couple months ago when a Honda fag was being an asshat in the local meeting place....Sheetz. Apparently he ran into a light pole and knocked it over. So now, from what I hear, it's pretty hard for the local car "group" to find a place as the cops tend to shadow them. Thank goodness. Fuckers.

Haha that's great, when they were all burning out a few of them looked like they got followed by cops, so I'm assuming they got pulled over, Hopefully...

I just don't understand the desire to buy a FWD economy car and slam it, at least E30's weren't sold as cheap cars to begin with, plus they look fuckin rad. compared to a honda, which most of them down here look like a shit on wheels.

This is your problem. People who think getting doing burnouts and revving engines when cops bust one of their buddies for doing something they shouldn't fucking be doing. It is just as easily an idiot who got his hands on a Nissan or a Toyota.

But yes, a lot of car guys are actually car loving stupid kids.

Like BMW, not all Honda owners are asshats. Some of those guys are diehards and really know their shit. They are about the cars while some others are about the scene.

Honda's are light, easy to mod, engines swap over easily, there's plenty of them around and can be made pretty quick fairly cheap. It's no wonder they are and have always been popular.

Not saying that those guys aren't out there, and mad respect to those who can actually make a honda look good. But I say honda kids for a reason. Immature assholes who throw on fart cannons and blast their sub woofers setting off car alarms when they roll into a meet. These are the honda kids I'm annoyed with.

Every group has their idiots, regardless of the type of car. Some meets around here got killed for the same reason, and it wasn't the Honda kids who were burning out.

There asshole at every meet that we go to ...but......I will agree it is more the import crowd that makes all the problems with the bar none. That's what broke up our Rowland heights/walnut meet that went on for many years till they started showing up then the shit hit the fan with the police. I mean come on the station is right across the street from the meet and they know us (the BMW crowd) and have no beef with us hanging out and supporting local business(Starbucks /in-n-out/subway).

I find most car meets to be a waste of time in general... it's either hard parking and general dumb fuckery or driving out in big groups and drawing way too much attention for it to be enjoyable.

Too much talking, staring, and dick measuring and not enough quality driving going on.

Go out for a back road/canyon drive solo (or with a small handful of friends) or take it to an auto-x or HPDE event if you want a "car meet."

About half the time I go out, someone in an integra, civic or accord sitting on cut springs will pull up next to me at a light. And everytime it happens, they ALWAYS start revving at me with their fart can

i like hondas, i like bmws, i like all cars. most of the time i hate the owners, and its sad that such lovely little machines have picked up such negative stigmas because their owners are idiots.

Its not a waste of time when people you meet there actually turn out to be very good close friends. I started going out to the walnut meet in 2008 and most of the same people i became friends with there i still talk to day to day,go to meets, come over for new years eve and other parties and help find parts or cars for and became really good friends to me. Meets are great places to make new friends and meet new people in general in the BMW community.I have alot of friends that i have come across because of car meets. You cant be a computer hermit and not go out and meet people and just stay at home or do solo runs in the canyon by yourself. Come on now....
