I liked how that car locked the brakes up and turned the wheels left and right....while going straight. Entertaining.

Wow.. that was entertaining to watch! Portland is hilly, but those people should not be behind the wheel!

Remember all that abuse that was heaped on us down here in the south ?

Lets see how Oregon does with a little ice.

Maybe ATL could employ a similar tactic next time the snow/ice falls. It looks pretty effective.

LOL they have got nothing on West Virgina drivers when there is even a hint snow on the road. Hell they drive slow a shit and act like they are in a filed even when its nice, dry, sunny and 70. Urgency is not in their repertoire, or vocabulary in most cases. Toss a little snow in with that and dear god, where I am at now I have to deal with both,

I use to drive to cleveland to deliver flowers. could you please do me a favour. start a campaign telling people in Ohio about this little lever on the left of the steering wheel. please educate them that when they move it to the upward position that indicates they are highly considering turning right. and when they press it down, it indicates a desire to turn the vehicle left. this would also work for CHANGING LANES.
seriously, I enjoyed the run, but the lack of turn signal useage always had me screaming in the van. At least I had bubba the love sponge on Sirius back then to keep me calm.
I prefer not to be grouped with these idiots. Im only here temp. on work assignment. Its over in about 3 months (thank god.)

I can contest what you say. This and they also will wait for you to stop at a muti stop sign intersection even if you're 100 yards away. It pisses me off SO much.

FWIW I lived in Mt Desert Island when I was little before moving back to Massachusetts. Its also funny to here the locals here in NW Ohio joke about the people down in Atlanta, but in reality, NWO drivers are the worst drivers on the whole fucking planet. We had 0.10" of snow here last night and Toledo highways were a parking lot while I was driving up to Detroit. God forbid flurries and an upcoming lane shift!

Also for those that say Maine never gets ice so we don't know what it's like, google ice storm of 98. Hell, just 2 weeks ago we had 1/2 inch of ice, didn't see a single traffic jam on the news.

i cant stand it, i would be able to deal with not driving it,
its not being able to work on it that makes me impatient for spring.

not having my own garage and a pile of parts collecting dust makes for a long winter. i need to change that for next year.
