This is a crazy thread. Im siding with all the guys on here that are saying this stuff is real. It is for sure 100% real. I was raised in a Christian family and I do attend services every so often when my sundays are not filled with e30 modding. Flame me if you want but srs chit...

story time

About 4 or so years back I was dating this chick I had met through friends in my town whatever ect ect. Id know her for a while and we hit it off after a few months of talking and hanging out in groups with other friends/ couples

After about 5 months or so of being together things got more serious and we started really opening up to each other. We would converse about more personal issues and experiences... normal things, just like any relationship escalates and builds.

I remember her always being scared to be alone. She would never want to be in dark places by herself. She always, and I mean ALWAYS used a night light. (girl was 22 years old) and im like Wtf? why? There were even times during the day where she would get scared for no reason... It could be broad daylight at a shopping mall or something.

She finally told me one day that she was followed by a constant shadow. She never wanted to tell me because she thought I would think it was stupid and make fun of her but after she told me about it, it was way beyond a laughing or joking matter.

She described what she saw in detail and every time she did see this dark figure it always looked the same, had the same facial features, long thin wire like hair, very dark large eye sockets and odd looking hands with very long fingers. There were times she would see it and it would be sitting at the foot of her bed, or maybe in the living room corner. She would also see it in public places as well (mostly when there was less traffic/ not so many or very few people around) It never got close to her, it always kept a few foots distance but it was there. And it would follow. If she moved from one room, It would move as well and just stare at her from a vantage point. It would creatively place itself in her peripheral vision, almost so no matter where she went it would pop up at some point.

As time went on (couple months if I remember right) things started getting worse. She began to show physical signs of excessive stress. Dark circles under her eyes, biting her finger nails till they bled... (she never had any of this before) Hair started falling out in more noticeable amounts, very little sleep ect. All these things became prominent.

Said girlfriend. ex now, ended up seeking help from a church pastor. He was convinced there was a demon trying get ahold of her. Our church leader cast the demon out and cleansed her. Immediately after she never once saw the figure again. To this day we are still on good terms and she hasnt seen it, and that was over 4 years ago.

There is a constant battle between darkness and light (so to speak) Lets not get all corny but simply there are worlds fighting over people ect.

The point I want to make here is this: If you ask and or open these doors via weird shit like these board games or whatever you are inviting evil in. It is very real. I get chills just remembering this whole situation. The effects it has on people is extremely destructive and unsettling.

Theres a verse in the bible where it talks about control of spirits and what not, that light has nothing in common with darkness and if you wish for such spirits to leave your thoughts they must leave and cannot stay. Stay away from this stuff. Nothing good comes of it. srs

It took awhile to calm her, she told us that she was sleeping and that it felt like something jumped on her and was straddling her holding her to the bed. she was kicking and trying to get away, as she crawled off her bed she said it was scratching at her back and legs as she ran at the door.

The second time I had sleep paralysis was sort of similar to this. Body paralyzed, both legs being held down with the right one sort of hanging off the bed being pulled down / held down. I was calm and didn't freak out that time. Was more of a wtf-is-going-on moment.

There is truth in this, I've seen addicts under the influence and in withdrawal, scary scary sight. But we will never know in her case.

Speaking of scary sites, reddit's no sleep channel is probably mostly just good stories, you can tell sometimes that people just like to flex their creative writing muscles. But do you truly not want to sleep or just lose some faith in human kind?

Technology brings people together, sometimes that means that truly evil people get together. The scary thing is human kind doesn't need to have access to a spiritual realm to be truly evil.

Let me preface this by saying even if these stories aren't real, know that they don't need to be real, because these things do happen. They are probably just scratching the surface of what you don't want to imagine. There are things in this world that most don't want to know about, and most won't ever be subject to such things thankfully.

I was actually reading this thread yesterday at work and did a little googling on Ouija boards and what not. After I got home I watched some "Parks and Recreation" and my mind was completely off the whole evil spirits and ouija board shit. I fell asleep at around maybe 11:30-12 and maybe 2-3 hours into my sleep, I started having a dream about becoming possessed and what not. Really scary shit. I was trying to yell for help but I couldn't make out the words out yell at all, it was like something was holding my voice back. Although that may be due to the fact I was asleep and trying to talk, that could just be my brain doing it's job. But anyways, I finally woke up after the demon was trying to possess me, sweating bullets and my heart racing. Really don't think it had anything to do with evil spirits and more so to do with the fact that the topic was on my mind earlier in the day. It was however, EXTREMELY UNSETTLING.

Seriously though. I am not a strong believer in the "occult" , however when I was younger I had an experience with some energy source, or "Spirit" floating down the hallway in front of my bedroom door. I was awake listening to some noise from the kitchen, and I noticed a lightening in the hallway
it appeared to be a glowing sphere of colored, diffused light, floating about 4 feet off the ground.
it paused In front of my open bedroom door, seemed to "regard me" like it knew I saw it, and gave me some sort of notice or warning...then continued on it's way.

yep, it was real as anything else I had experienced. I don't really care what other people would say, I know myself to be in control of my faculties. it happened.

I honestly don't read too much into it. although some emerging theory on consciousness and what happens to it after death seen to align with my "energy is neither created or destroyed" belief in what may come after this life/dimensional existence...

My little brother had this same experience at a relative's house in New Hampshire during a summer vacation. It's been almost 20 years since it happened, and it still haunts him a little (he's 31 now). I have no reason to doubt what he saw.

I come from an engineering background and know plenty of highly logical people who believe in a real, active spiritual world.

These glimpses we see are what drove me back to faith and Christianity. I've never personally been afflicted or seen these things, but the book of Job in the Old Testament clearly depicts constant battles going on around us that we don't see or perceive most of the time. Yes, I believe this happened then and still happens now.

Praying is the closest I'll get to effing with the "spirit world." Ouija boards and the rest...NO THANKS.

My younger sister as she got into her late teens hit a VERY rebellious stage, I did the whole party animal thing for a while, she was on a totally different level. At the time I was living in a separate house on my parents property, was down in my parents kitchen late at night, when I heard my sister start screaming, like pure terror, something that shoots chills down your spine.

I ran upstairs as she came running out of her room into my parents room crying, she was screaming "it wouldn't let go!". It took awhile to calm her, she told us that she was sleeping and that it felt like something jumped on her and was straddling her holding her to the bed. she was kicking and trying to get away, as she crawled off her bed she said it was scratching at her back and legs as she ran at the door.

Guys, there were scratch marks all over her back and legs, I saw it with my own eyes. Gives me chills just thinking about this again.

Another good buddy just 2 weeks ago stationed in Japan sent me this crazy long email. Said 4 different guys in his barracks have claimed to being attacked in the middle of the night, all stories similar. Being held the the bed, beaten, scratched and the sound of demonic voices speaking in different languages.


Dude...........leave it alone, it straight bad joojoo.....I won't expose myself to music, movies, games ect. that could open a door to the realm. It's real, and I believe its all around us, and that we can't see it for a reason.
