Went to university right out of HS, hated it, worked for a while, went to tech school, went back to university, hated it just as bad, now back to work.

If I go back to uni, cool, but I want to be sure that the career path I choose I'm going to stick with for at least 20 years.

Not gonna lie, I do like the younger honeys.

Haha well that's just the thing. I realize now the stakes are higher and I have to get something on the go. I know it's never to late and all but the sooner I get something decent done the better.

Ha! I started at 18 and finished at 29, I win!

But OP, I too think you're doing it right. Just take it one step at a time, it's easy to get overwhelmed at first, especially if you're still working.88 325is - S52 powered

Like some others: I started college when I was 17 and didn't finish my Bachelor's until I was 26.

I started at a community college and majored in slacking off. Ended up on academic probation and left the school.

Lot's of working / partying made me wake up and go back full time. Had to earn all A's just to get above a 2.0 to graduate with my AA.

After that I transferred to a 4 year school and kept up with the A's and graduated Magna Cum Laude in 2011.

I've been climbing the ladder since and now I'm a VP for a medium sized credit union.

Do it. Do whatever it takes to pay for it. Apply for grants, sell some things, buy textbooks cheap, etc. Once you're in the groove it will fly by and you'll be happier for it.Comment
