I'd rather just see all stop signs turn into yield signs.'84 318i M10B18 147- Safari Beige

Why not just make it so that stop lights have the same rules as a stop sign. If there is no traffic, but your light is red, as long as you stop first, you are allowed to continue. That's what I do when there is no traffic anyway.
We have multiple roundabouts here in Bend and overall I think they work very well. The only thing that fucks them up is stupid people either stopping at the entrance when they don't need to, or signaling left when they are in it instead of signalling right when they want to exit. They definitely work better than a 4-way stop.Comment

I like the stop sign rules idea for sure, it is better than waiting for a light. However, I would rather not have to stop at all which a roundabout or my theoretcial system would allow. Why not just make it so that stop lights have the same rules as a stop sign. I whole-heartledly agree that people inexperienced with roundabouts are the problem. Some some light beeping on my horn when they stop unnecessarily might help re-educate over time!
Thanks for the feedback from you and everyone ^sigpic

You yield in the order you arrive and follow the same rules as a stop sign. "Yield" doesn't mean "not stop"
edit: idk, it makes sense to me. I've driven plenty in Brazil and that's the way the stop signs are treated. Do you really think it's necessary to come to a full and complete stop at every single stop sign? I sure don't.'84 318i M10B18 147- Safari Beige
