    My dog

Some of you might remember the "gay" pet thread I started a while back. My Yorkie, Sasha, just recently went to the vet with a horrible upset stomach. We just got a call back from the vet, and turns out she has congestive heart failure, and will have to be put to sleep.

I know a bunch of you guys are "tough skinned" and the like, but keep her in your thoughts, if you don't mind. Sad to see such a bright and happy little dog go.

Always sucks to have to put a pet down. Even though we are "tough skinned" (which I am probably somewhere in between) most of us have people/pets that we care for. Sorry to hear about your doggy.

Sorry to hear that. We had a dog die of cancer a few years ago, and it was pretty rough for the family.

I've been down this path twice myself. Its never an easy thing to do, but it is humane for the pet. Trying to keep it alive only prolongs its suffering. As tough as it may seem, you are doing the right thing.

Yeah. It doesn't bother me that much knowing that she's not suffering. She was obviously in serious pain throughout the whole duration of her illness.

It's amazing how we can have such relationships with pets. My dog always picks me up if I have a bad day. Sorry to hear about your dog, better to easy the suffering than prolong it.

Last year had to put my St. Bernard down. Always sucks, you never realize how much of a big impact they make in your life until it's missing. Sorry to hear bout it.

I remember when Jordan's cat, Bimmer, died of (I believe) an enlarged heart condition. It was a pretty sad event, he meant a lot to him. It's never easy.

BTW, one of my cat's name is Sascha.

I was about to post the exact same sentence. Im a big softy when it comes to animals especially if they are my pets. Im really sorry to hear about that. A pet can really brighten your day sometimes and they have personalities of their own that you just kick back and observe. Sorry man.
