Well they have Drift Circuit at Qualcomm, $100, passengers allowed.

He was the kid from Texas in Jarhead. I'm actually going to go see this movie for one reason. Regardless of how corny the story, and everything else might be, I'm a sucker for car chase/racing movies, plain and simple. I can't really explain it, I just love watching fast Hollywood action movies with fast Hollywood cars. Gone in 60 seconds, Ronin, Driven, etc. I don't expect everyone to agree, and I expect to be flamed to hell for it, but it's just something I love to watch. Maybe it's because secretly that's how car guys want to drive, and wish they could drive like (not just talking about F&F), I don't know.

                        Ronin, okay. The rest, AYFKM?

Pick up the original GISS on DVD, not that godawful Bruckheimer abortion. Pick up "Junkman" as well, also by Halicki. Snag "Vanishing point", as well as Le Mans. Gran Prix is decent, but not on DVD. If you wanna get artsy, pick up "A Man and a Woman", great 60's cannes artsy french flick with lots of sex & racing, can't beat that.

Vanishing Point is one acid trip of a movie, but I'd watch it again. Of all the car movies I've seen, I liked Vanishing Point the most. I haven't seen that many though.

I can't stand Driven. That is easily the worst movie I've seen.

LMAO!!!! THIS is the reason I still cant unserstand why at ANY car show/meet. No matter if the cars are Euro or Japanese. The models are ALL asian. ALL OF THEM!! And anyways, about the movie. I remember when the first one came out, and the pigs in L.A. would kick it outside of the parking structures of theatres it was playing at to catch these clowns growing faux-balls and needing to act reckless after seeing it and make tons for the city in tickets. Run-on sentence much? lol.
