So I'm sure they had the plastic bumpers prototyped way before 88.
Oh of course that's why I thought it was cool it has plastic bumpers and was a 87' car. I would just think any major car manufacture would want to get rid of most of there old inventory before they start something new, though because of the law put in place (not sure if its world wide) a car manufacture has to have parts for that specific car for a minimum of 10 years Goes to show exactly what your saying, that they had it designed and were in the stages of putting it into production.

I really like electric cars. Can't wait for Forumula E to be up and running and developing new cars.

That thing looks so good! I love it with the monster truck ride height and tall, skinny tires! I'd drive it in a heartbeat.

FYI, 17 kilowatts works out to be about 22 HP. I'm surprised it is as fast as it is. Motor must have quite a lot of torque.

I love them, but I think they're stupid for anything other than commuting and city driving.

Most people drive about 25 miles per day so CO2 emissions per capita would be lower if cleaner energy was used to power those movements (unless a 90 year old coal plant was providing the electricity to charge them).

Why would they make this an ix... Not even enough power to spin two wheels on ice, lol.

                    Awesome little thing though.

oh ok. Well around here I would think it is different as everyone seems to commute an hour.
