Hmmm I actually like the thought of leaving the country and traveling around Europe some.... hitting up Amsterdam sounds like a good idea.

What's the deal with the Nurburgring? Is it open during May-June? What about that chick that gives rides in the brand new "M5 ring Taxi"? That'd be interesting to check out.

the mobile tradition i am almost pos. is closed. which sux, but the reg. museum is still open. not as cool, but still interesting in a old skool kinda way.
your more than welcome to come down to. we can have a BBq while were at it. throw some old E30 parts in the grill!
the best place to find the E30 parts is the U.S. Army junk yards, which you wont be a ble to get into without a soldier. The German wreckers dont really keep E30s around, not to many on the road with german plates.

dude just drive without a license...thats what i did when i was in switzerland in dec. the people there are very good drivers so you dont have to worry about getting in an accident. also if you have time i HIGHLY recomend you take a train trip to Interlaken in Switzerland.....they say it is the most beutiful place in the world. and if you go to france, go to south france. north france sucks, i took my GF to paris BIG MISTAKE the people are rude there. In germany you should visit the Rhine falls which is on the border of germany and switerland, it is a big waterfall and it is really cool. just my 2 cents.

Stop by the Castle Neuschwanstein, in Bavaria. You will never forget it. It was built by mad king Ludwig and its amazing, its the castle they based the disney castles on. Oh go to Austria too the people there are not as friendly as the germans, but the country is the most beautiful place I've ever seen.

I was there just a few months back. The BMW musuem is closed but they have a temporary building set up closer to the olympic park. It is okay and has one e30 Gruppe a car on display. Mercedes musum is sweet however they are building a new one as well.

The castles are all real cool, the beer joints are sweet. If you are backpacking use the train and do an overnight down to modena and marenello(can you say Lambo, alfa and ferrari)

I believe if you rent a car you need to have one of those 10 dollar triple a driving passes. I rented a turd bucket deisal, it still went 200kmh.

                          Thanks,

                          Tyler

I'm down to set up a BBQ.... as for driving in the Autobahn.... that's only if I get the chance with my family (and I only wish... the uncle I'm staying with for 2-3 days has quite the garage).

I'll be taking the train to get around :)

I have a really big backyard, and a nice big weber! I am more than happy to have some people over for a BBQ. We can hit up a few junk yards around the area on Sat morning, and BBQ that evening.- just need to figure out a good day that everyone can meet up.

As far as driving on the autobahn, If you have a license in the states, i am more than willing to let you all flog the shit out of my RED car its a 325i with a 4,10- bounces off the rev limiter at about 215kmh. in 5th. I treat it like a bitch, and have no probs letting others treat her like a ho too.
but it will have to be within the next few weeks, my truck is getting registered, and the plates will be coming off the Red car.
just think how cool you will be to tell everyone you got to treat a M tech I car like the bitch it is!
