I’m looking for a new cell phone

    Any suggestions people?

The only requirements I have are that it must be a bar phone (not flip) and it must have Bluetooth. Also, it must accept a SIM card.

Any feedback on either of these:
    MOTOROLA SLVR

    Nokia 6230

    TIA

Just a general observation here. Although I haven't owned either one of the phones you're interested in, but my experience with cell phones in general has taught me Nokia's quality is superior to Motorola. My current phone is a Motorola V710.....I've had it 15 months and during that time the antenna has snapped off and the battery life stinks at best. My two prior cell phones were Nokias and they each performed flawlessly for 2+ years before renewing my service contract and getting a replacement phone. The experience with my current Motorola has been disappointing at best and I'm looking to replace it already. If Nokia and Motorola are the only brands you're interested in, go with the Nokia.

That's funny - I've always been a Nokia owner. My Nokia was stolen a few weeks ago and I needed a phone fast so I bought a Motorola T720 off of ebay because it was local. The T720 sucked so I resold it on ebay and that's why I'm looking for another phone. I thought this Motorola might be better.

I've always had good luck with moto but I also have never had any problems with my past nokias. Buy the Finn.

I've broken 3 nokia phones, and maybe 5 LG crapthings. Motorola i530 ftw. No features but rugged as hell (I left it on my bumper, drove off, came back 1 hour later, beeped it, found it, used it.)

Iden phone though, you really cant compare those to regular phones. I dropped mine off a 12 foot ladder and all I got was a dent in the housing.

I had an old Motorola flip phone that was a serious peice of crap. I've never had any problems with a Nokia, but right now I've been rocking the same LG for about 3ish years with no problems. I drop the son of a bitch all the time too.

The only reason that Nokia phones hold up better is because they have had the same freaking design forever. And if I remember the last time they tried to come out with something new, the ngage, it sucked balls. If you want a phone just for talking that you can beat the hell out of then get a Nokia, if you want something with features and is kinda stylish then go with a moto.

nokia phones get dust inside like no other, its annoying to have to open it up and clean it all the time. i have the 6230 and its a good phone

Razr's are dirt cheap now when you sign up for plans and such. Sucks if you have a plan though.

Got my black one for $45.
