Can you record a replay of your lap and post it? I could take a look and let you know what I'm doing differently.

For those using the clutch, how do you do it? The default setting is brake on the left trigger and clutch on the left bumper. I can do it fine upshifting but trying to downshift I can't hit the clutch and the brake with my index finger and I can't brake worth a damn with my middle finger while using my index to clutch. Maybe just because I have used it without the clutch for so long. Is there another button layout that you use?

Clutch with the A button, move the hand brake to the left bumper.

I was going to ask the same question! I used to used manual w/ clutch a couple years back with FM3, but could not for the life of me figure out what layout I was using. Might have been when I had a wheel setup though.

Managed a 53.2 last night and got annoyed I couldn't put together a faster lap so I watched 3 episodes of Top Gear. Got back on and tried manual w/ clutch and got more irritated so I went to bed haha. We'll see what I can come up with tonight.

It's kinda like a heel toe. Angle your index finger pointed down and use the side of your finger for clutch.

Absolutely, if I had the time. Can only do like 10 laps at a sitting. Maybe I'll get a shot tomorrow evening, we'll see.

That's still a really quick time! I'm waiting for the day when one of us finally beats ELVA though haha!

:( I do kinda feel like a dick sometimes, heh. It's not on purpose, I swear!

Don't! Personally I feel it gives me a goal to work toward; it's not about winning so much as bettering yourself.
