Well yeah 250-270hp is commonplace in k series, its a whole different beast.

That white hatch may have 250+ n/a whp, but I wouldn't consider that a run of the mill setup. 11.5 c/r, portflow head, itb, and built to the balls?

Thats what I do. Work on shit, its fun for me. Can't wait til this car is done and the m52 is in the Si iS and we can roll together. Its going to be fun. I probably should have bought the car for myself, only 900 bucks.

Wait what M52? In your car? That car? BMW engine in that car?

I'm confused. But really, K20 swaps are the way to go.

            What!!!!

I logged on to R3V and ended up in a parallel universe. Some guys had put some pictures of a Civic up and no one was hosing on "ricer fan boys" It was "getting a real flat black respray with a real paint gun." Welcome to the world of new motor mounts every two weeks. Wheel hop - it's all hopping!
I like the car too. To me it's the modern equivalent of a rat rod, the origin of the phrase "hot rod primer" That garage reminds me of my own. I have different jack stands though.

m52 in the 89 325is. Donor m20 from 89 325is getting some 'attention' and going in my car. My setup going to cowden's 84 318i along with a 3.73, should be quick as shit.

maybe h22 for the ef, k20 for newer shit. But b series are a dime a dozen and lighter than h blocks. Dont know if he'll have it long enough to try a vtec setup though.

ummmmm.......... the hasport motor mounts probably cost more than your e30.... they wont be breaking.

I'll probably update this thread with new information every so often if you guys want to check it out, or start a new one.

Looks pretty good. I want to see it when its repainted.

My friend at home has an ITR powered EG, that thing is sick as hell. Gutted, caged, lots of bolt ons on the engine, Tein coil overs. Somewhat similar to your setup. It's the most fun Honda I've ever been in, but I've never been in an S2000....

Sooner or later I will own an EK hatch. My mom drives one now, maybe I will buy it from her when she buys something new.

Maybe an EG swap using stock motor mounts on a b-series.

Those hasport mounts are pretty damn beefy, you even cutoff some of those gay stock mounts :P Plus they are pretty damn shiny.

prolly wont get it repainted until summer.
I bet that ITR EG is a lot of fun, theres guys running GSR motors and hitting 13 flat on the track, i could only imagine what the type r motor does plus a gutted car.

s2000's...... overated. good from a stop or launch but rolling they have no power since it has a 9000rpm redline it has to be way high to go anywhere...

I love honda's but not really a big fan of the s2k's (still wouldn't mind driving one though)

I would love to have the EG, believe me. It's loads of fun. It's the first FWD car that I have seen throttle-steer. People say E30's feel like go-karts, but this honestly felt like the closest thing to a go-kart I have felt in an automobile.

it's funny that you call the EG a go-kart, that's what me and etasport call it everyday. especially since it vibrates a lot with the ploy urethane motor mounts......

but if it didn't drive/ride like a go-kart I never would have bought it in the first place.

mikey, if you think those ha mounts won't do the trick... I'm sure I could weld up some solid mounts.... Oh, that might break a few other things though, but heck, it would be cool. lol

I know the hasport mounts will do fine. they'll support over 500 hpin that little car.

if you want to weld something you could always weld up my downpipe and some intercooler piping for the turbo set-up.

the piping would be aluminum if you wanted to practice with welding aluminum (don't know if you've done that or not)
