One more hex based game. Go figure, I became an American History major.
Something educational (which was pretty darn fun for the genre).
Africa/Amazon/Yukon Trail
This version of Carmen Sandiego. Transitional "graphics" and cool sounds, along with geography information (and no way to cheat (except to read) AFAIK)!Last edited by roguetoaster; 05-13-2014, 08:49 PM.Comment

In highest to lowest favorite rank:
Metal Slug - Arcade
Final Fantasy VI ("III") - SNES/GBA
1080 Snowboarding - N64
007: GoldenEye - N64
Super Smash Brothers - N64
Street Fighter II Turbo - SNES
Final Fantasy IX - PS1
Pokemon Crystal Version - GBC
Final Fantasy VII - PS1
Pokemon Yellow Version - GBC
Pokemon TCG Game 1/2 - GBC
Halo: Combat Evolved - Xbox
Funnily enough; I found a GBA/GBC emulator for my iPhone and can play half of these games. It's been a hardcore 2 month session of nostalgia for me. That and that PSN is selling PS1 "Classics" like the FF series.
Even with crappy graphics and poor scripts; old games are infinitely better than new games
Yep. I was a huge nerd growing up.
Ah... The good old Konami code. Helped me like crazy playing through Contra lol
The same code is still used in popular Konami titles todayLast edited by JinormusJ; 05-18-2014, 06:25 PM.Comment
