F1 News: Mike Gascoyne of Toyota

This strikes me as a bit odd. The team gets a podium finish this past weekend and because of a disagreement on some issues, Gascoyne gets suspended indefinately. Seems a bit harsh....I'm sure the rumor mill on this one is already churning.

F1 is such a soap opera. Sometimes they act like such bitches. Just needed to say that. 'Tis all for now.

A lot of things in F1 don't make sense. I was reading something the other day comparing the budgets of the F1 teams, and it was reported that Toyota spends by far the most of any team in the paddock-yes, even more than Ferrari. And what do they have to show for it?

I admit kicking out your chassis engineer after three races is odd, but Gascoyne never has been able to design a top performing chassis. Not being able to do it with all the money Toyota has is even more of an embarassment in my opinion.

On another note, I like the fact that Cosworth has arguably possibly the most powerful F1 engine right now, and they probably have a tenth of the budget of the other engine manufacturers. I pull for Cosworth because of ChampCar.

      Long Beach this weekend!!
