Got my rail dirty for the first time

I purchased the rail back in February not knowing the carbs needed rebuilding. Once the weather warmed up a bit I started tinkering with the rail. After numerous failed attempts at getting it to run right I sent the carbs out for a rebuild. A few weeks later the carbs returned looking brand new and with re bushed throttle linkages. It look me a couple days to fine tune the carbs and now the rail runs really well.

Replaced an axle but forgot to install the torque washers.

    Rebuilt Kadrons

    And finally getting it dirty.

My son exiting after teaching him how to drive stick.

Yup it's loads of fun. My son is eleven and all his friends thinks I'm cool because of my toys. Nothing like getting labeled as the "cool dad"!

Did you buy it or put it together? If so, build thread?

              That thing is too cool.

I purchased it already built and street titled. I drive this thing more than any of my other cars now.

Bought some low pro wide wheel/tires for the rail. Going to do a little autoxing for the heck of it. Still waiting on front set.

Had to scratch the autox idea for a bit. The bolt holes for the rear were too big making it impossible to center. There isn't really a hub for the wheel to rest on. I have to think of another way to mount or buy another wheel. For now it will be used off road and street.

This was taken in the St. Helen MI trail system. The trail system has hundreds of miles snaking through mid Michigan all the way up to the upper peninsula.

This is how it looks in street attire.
