REALLY THIS IS IT KP is a FUCKING 8.93 right now as of 4pm MST 3/17 and will continue all night. I dont think I have ever seen it this high ever that I can remember There were spotting as far south as Southern IL and IA last night.
The largest CME and magnetic storm this solar cycle is hitting the fan RIGHT NOW. if you have clear skies tonight go out and look up and to the north, will be a long time till we see anything like this again or likely even the opportunity to see anything like it. Its solid rain here where I am for the next 3 days so I am screwed for tonight.
