I didn't go to my college graduation if that tells you anything.
Not sure what to do...

Ok one, you only do it once, and I bet someday when your being all nostalgic youll regret it if you dont go.
Second, you usually score some bucks from the fam for it, and if your fams anything like mine you wont see as much if you dont walk. Grandparents eat this kinda shit up and get all mushy and whatnot and fork out the cash. I made like 1500 bucks out of mine, you going to do anything but spend money at the PNW meet?
Third, grad night was seriously the best night of raging I had before I went to college. It was awesome to get totally fucked up with a bunch of friends, people I kind of knew, and others I didnt even know their name. Either way everyone rages their face off and inhibitions go out the window. Great night to try and score with that girl before you never see her again.
Honestly as boring as the actual graduation is (mine was boring as all fuck, and Bill Clinton was my grad speaker to give you some kind of relevance) but its something you only do once. Youve already been to 3 e30 meets and will go to dozens more. I say go to graduation, I guarantee youll regret it at some point in your life if you dont.Back to my roots

I honestly would rather go and really only made this thread to try and find a reason to convince me to go to graduation. So far I haven't heard one.Comment

Go to the grad. Do it. How many more car meets do you have to look forward to in years to come? Shitloads (and c'mon, its the choice of a PICNIC or a graduation... PICNIC??!!!)
So:
- Go to graduation
- Go to after parties (I assume its the same over there as over here)
- Bang some drunk, hot, moisen gutterslut
- Take photos of you sodomising her rusty sherrif's badge
- Post photos on internet
- Make shitloads of money from it
- Buy Lotus
- Go to next year's PNW E30 Picnic as a king among men.Pork Hunt Motorsport

A car meet youve already experienced 3 times? And while cars might be in your blood, youve got a long time to live, and they might not always be.Originally posted by NitroRustlerDriverI'de actually rather look back and be able to say I skipped out on my graduation to go to a car meet. lol Car's are in my blood.

Like I said before you really wont miss anything at graduation, but its the after parties, banging hot chicks youll never see again, and blowing all your grad money on kegs and stupid shit that makes it worth it. I mean as shitty as your high school could have been, I guarantee youll enjoy grad night.Back to my roots

See, none of that appeals to me. I have a GF who won't even be there since she isn't a Senior. And as far as getting wasted, I have no want to. I'm not into the whole "lets get wasted and act like fucking morons" thing. Beside, I can do that in my 20's. I'd much rather spend time on a road trip doing what I like and meeting people I only get to see once a year.Originally posted by IainGo to the grad. Do it. Now, I'm not saying that I wouldn't have fun at an after grad party, but I think I would have more fun at the E30 meet.Comment

Ok first piece of advice is to ditch that chick whos still in high school. It might seem all good right now, but it wont work in the long run.
Second, since when do you need to party with your girlfriend? I frankly prefer if my gf goes off with her gal pals and is waiting for me at the end of the night. And its not necessarily a lets get wasted and act like morons thing, but its just pretty sweet cause noone gives a fuck and just has a good time cause its the end of the most laid back portion of your life.Back to my roots

I can do that on the e30 picnic. Hell, the year before last there was a party at Matt's house. The only people who weren't drunk off their ass were Jordan, James and I, and that was becasue we were swapping Jordon's transmission out.Originally posted by IainWhat I'm trying to say is:

Andy, it's pretty simple if you ask me. You obviously don't have much interest in walking at graduation. You have much more interest in coming to the meet. You'll still graduate high school, but you won't have to sit through a 3 hour ceremony of teachers, principals and students giving speeches and telling you that "you've got your whole future ahead of you". I know you're not into partying, and I know what's more important to you. If you don't want to go and would rather come with us to the meet, then that's what you should do.Comment
