Of course. But riding on the side of the road, minding you own business is reasonable. Riding double wide on a busy street at 5pm is not.

Unfortunately this is what 90% of the smug-douches do here.

Fuck up someones truck while you're all by yourself in the middle of nowhere? You're going to become a liveleak video. Best to catch their plate number and deal with it that way, either via cops or handling it yourself.

I try to be one of the most conscious, aware cyclists on the road. Very rarely ride with anyone, I'm always solo. I always stay right, unless I need to move center for any of a number of safety reasons; and I avoid riding on certain roads where the traffic volume or speed limit are too high. In Indiana, cyclists have every right and responsibility on a road as any vehicle...and we all have at least one of those, too, so I pay excise tax for roads. Just wondering if anyone here had encountered this before, and what their outcome was.

Sounds like you're already doing what you can to not encourage it but some people are dickheads (especially behind the wheel)...not much you can do about that. Don't let it ruin your day is my best advice.

The NRA jersey would be hilarious! Or one that reads "Git 'R' Done".

Mountains in central Indiana.....maybe you should look at a map. Our bike paths and lanes ARE roads, genius. Where such a lane is provided, I use it.

Primal Wear, Falconi, bibshorts, Canari, Old Fart, Fat Bastard, Old Bastard, donuts, beer, cycling shorts, bicycle jerseys, team cycling jerseys.

I made a semi-custom cycling jersey at Voler, should ship soon... Maybe I'll get a little less aggro on the road wearing this? Its a shame the NRA store doesn't carry any official cycling jerseys!

I like the Gadsden jersey, I was just imagining whether anyone had ever made one before. I live in the reddest county in a fairly red state, it'll be great.

Shot gun filled with deer slugs. Aim for the back tires. If anyone asks, tell them you are training for a bike biathlon. ;-)

I don't condone retaliating, but spark plug shards are always pretty easy to carry, and to throw. I don't know if that means anything, though.

You fucking dolt, this argument sucks. They don't need to pay road tax bc they aren't doing any damage to the road, and most don't ride in winter when municipalities are spending money salting and plowing.
