Just bumping this for an update.

Sold the civic the other day, and since it's registration is good until this time next year, I decided to transfer the plates to the Miata.

While I was there, I mentioned the screw up on the title. Well, they simply printed up the original WV title from when I bought the car, and made the corrections no charge to me.

    10 points, DMV.

Still have it. Word of advise, never try to sell a Honda. All it attracts are broke, illiterate kids with a sob story looking for a handout.

So the Honda is my backup. A damn reliable one at that, currently using it actually because the FR caliper on the Miata is randomly locking up.

This. After waiting the average of two hours to get seen, you just zone out and head for the door.

Didn't you check the paperwork they handed you to check then hand it back to them?

Around here if it is a newer title they just scan a bar code at the bottom and scan my barcode on my license and it spits out a new title with all the information. Seems impossible to screw up here.
