Too bad Android is the worst operating system ever and Samsungs fall apart if you so much as sneeze on them. The Nexus isn't too bad but Samsung are shit.

I've been using my galaxy s3 for the last couple of months after it fell off a 5 story building; The screen didn't shatter either.

Samsung Galaxy = Shelby Mustang. 500hp but sucks to drive.
IPhone = Mercedes AMG. For old people who actually use voice control.
Nexus = BMW M3. 300hp but super easy and fun to drive.

Apple has always focused on one device (The iPhone) and has done a great job capturing its audience.
Samsung's galaxy phones capture the remaining audience using variety of phones and its working great for them.
Both win at accomplishing the same task using different strategies and cover 90% of the market share.
Why the hell are we trying so hard to defend which one is better? Both are meant for different people with different likes and dislikes.

try explaining to anyone older than 30 why the galaxy/nexus/android whatever is technically superior, then ask if they care.

i'll give up the tech advantage for ease of use, and Apple wins by a mile in this category.
their entire product line works together without having to know "why" as a user.

just bot their latest router to use as a bridge to extend a network and was reading up how with linksys and never did understand what the instructions wanted me to do
i connected the ethernet cable (350 feet) to the airport, and it asked me if i'm trying to extend the network, hit the yes button, and 30 seconds later i have internet.

this ease of use is why i use apple. i hate pc's. pc's are like trying to drink budweiseir after a great IPA

Android fan girls remind me of those dumb kids in high school that would swear up and down that their mom's Nissan Maxima is a better driver's car than an E30 because it has more hp in stock form.

Sooo....

Considering the available mods, ease of use, reliability, stability, upgrade possibilities, and other customizations available, and many flavors to choose from, even individualized ones.. Obviously Android is the E30.

With iOS being the Maxima. Not much for mods. Not much of an upgrade path. Requires vastly more money to do anything with. All pretty much a carbon copy of the next. Etc.

They both have their purposes in life, and I respect both camps, but this is a pretty piss poor "update" to the iPhone. I'll keep my rock solid, no crashes, modded LG G2 with free tethering, unlimited data, and all that awesomeness, and recommend my mom the iPhone again, because it's perfect for her.

Oh, and fuck Samsung. Their longevity is right around a SIDS victim.

Or, I have had numerous iPhones and Android phones and know first hand that Android/Samsung are the buggiest pieces of crap on the market.

Next time I upgrade will be to a Nexus 6. It will be buggy but it will do what I need from it as long as I don't drop it.
