it really all comes down to a matter of taste. i've had the g1, g2, s4, s5, and every single iphone model and my preference is the iphone no matter what specs the android models have.

also, all of my apple products have outlasted any pc or android i have owned

Samsung phones are fine if you get rid of all the shit bloatware, Involves knowing a little or knowing someone to have them flash fresh android on it. But after that the hardware is fine itself.

But really, any android fan not buying a nexus device is missing everything.

I don't care how awesome it is once you root it, install a custom ROM, etc. I want it to text, place phone calls, and check the internet and maps. That's it.
I've always thought Samsung was way overrated. I really like my LG - people dog on them, but it's rock solid. Never crashes, it's quick, large high def screen, and I've had it for 2 years without a single scratch on it. I use Bluetooth often (synchs with the stereo in the E90, hands free calling, etc), it's also my running GPS. My wife got an HTC the same time I got my LG - hers is slow and falling apart, mine is still like new.

I don't care about rooting my phone either. I'll probably get another LG (this is my 3rd), but I'm going to skip this generation and just get a new battery when it starts to die. My current phone was a huge leap over my first Android, so I'm going to wait for that next leap. So far they're about the same as what I already have.

I could honestly care less about the iPhone. They do what they do well, but they're basically dumbed down for the masses. The new iPhone features really are what Android had 2 years ago, they're just more polished.

as far as metric, the Europeans are just afraid of doing fractions. ;)

I generally don't care about the details, I used to, back in the day. Now I just want to play GTA5 on a huge TV.
    I use computers for work.

It all comes down to preference. I will say good things about my 5s, but I won't bash the Samsungs, because I really don't care.
I can never tell when a new Samsung or HTC comes out, noone talks about them. When Apple announces a new product, there's flame wars everywhere, dumb posts on Facebook. Just get on with your lives, food and sleep are more important.

I'll be getting a 6 Plus. My upgrade is right around the corner and I want a bigger screen :p Lol at all you Apple haters. Have used S5's and have friends who own them. They're slow. Also, no iMessage? No thanks.
