I have had a second gen iPod touch since it came out, I got an iPhone 5s because my touch still works like that day I got it. My phones does what I need it do, I use a Nikon D3100 for real photos and the 5s photos are amazing for Instagram, it does what I need...I personally don't care about spec matching for a phone that I use to text and call with.

For me it is a tool, I care about long term VS nerdgasm specs.

I'm no expert on cameras but judging a cell phone (or any) camera based solely on mp is fairly dumb. The big 6's phone screen is 2mp, there's no point in having a camera with 10x the resolution of the screen most of your pictures will be viewed on, because if you want to take real pictures you're probably not using your phone anyways. More pixels on the same size sensor let less light in, and the pics then take up more space for no good reason.

I've always had apple, but i'm tech savvy and i'm bouncing because last couple phones I've had are shit and parents too. buttons break, screens crack, random reboots. Going to try something else and we will see

+1. Different phones for different uses. I have a coworker that is an iPhone basher and spits off specs from the phone, yet knows how to use maybe a 1/16th of them. Samsung fanboys can be just as bad as iPhone users too.

you're in the clear minority if you didn't know. the public here and worldwide has voted and Apple won, at least so far. total value of Apple = 589 billion, Google = 403 billion and in a solid third place is Microsoft at 382 billion.

and it doesn't matter if windows/galaxy/anything else is technically superior. its a moot point. the apple family is easier to use by people who don't know crap about tech, or don't want to.
