gotta love how now it takes a laptop to jack a bmw, where as in the 70s, it took half of a tennis ball

Up until model year 95 with Porsche you could jump/start the car in about 15sec.

With a philips head screw driver, I can start and drive my car off with no damage to the ignition lock in less then 5 minutes. I had to do it once when my ignition lock got jammed.

I wonder what kind of wireless unit they are using? Somehting custom or bluetooth perhaps?

Was this a joke/exageration, or was it really that easy?

I despise people that fuck with other people's cars, much less stealing them, but that's pretty damn cool.

I've HEARD (read: haven't tried) that half of a tennis ball, placed over the locking mechanism and squeezed, can throw off the hydralics of older BMW locking mechanisms and pop open the door.

dude thats wrong. you cut a tennis ball in half, hold it up to the door lock cylinder of an e21, and pop it real hard once. the lock cylinder pops out.
