This has likely been mentioned already, but people who drive 20 mph under the speed limit on a two lane road with no passing areas piss me off to the Nth degree. It seems like every time I try and go somewhere, I get stuck behind one of these ass hats. Seriously, if you can't drive the damn speed limit, pull over and let those of us who need to get from point a to point b in a reasonable amount of time do so. It's doubly bad if the person is driving a Prius.:curse:

It's not only that, but the fact that they used their finger to cover it while taking the picture.
For some reason it grosses me out and screams "I'm lazy and want people to think I'm clever." in my opinion.

try living where I do this time of year. With the massive influx of warm weather types our 911 dispatch gets all kinds of calls every winter from CA types that have never driven on snow or ice and dont know what too do while they are out and about.......................... OR they are calling to report all the drivers in the huge line of traffic passing them at 10 under the limit while they are doing 22 in a 65 driving down the middle of the road when conditions are good for at least 50ish......

At least that is semi seasonal, mine is constant. If it happens to be raining, good god. I had to drive from Napa to San Rafael last week. My average speed was a blistering 33 mph. That was with a 65 mph stretch of freeway for the last 20 miles. The conditions were fine for full speed. I think this might be the fastest way to piss me off. That or people who can't stay in their lane (and go 20 under the speed limit...)

Oh man, I went to Stinson beach on Thursday and those drivers are crazy! Going over the hill in the rain and I keep getting tailgated by Priuses and stuff. I always use turnouts, but I wanted to run these assholes off the road! Then 5 o'clock traffic on 101 back to the Richmond bridge was so bad, if I didn't get off and go to a bar for a couple hours I'd still be sitting in traffic!!! And those assholes that skip a mile of traffic and cut in at the last second, what the actual fuck?!? Saw a Mini Cooper do it, wanted to rocket launcher it. Why is rush hour 4 hours long? Can't wait to escape the Bay Area to the mountains or something.

I hear you. "The Prius effect" the ability to make a good driver a shitty one just by having them get behind the wheel of a Prius. Now take into account that was a good driver to start with, the effect gets worse with mediocre drivers, and bad drivers (who really are prone to buying Priuss) push the bad driving off the chart.

About the jackasses that cheat and cut in at the last second, yeah where is the rocket launcher? I'm getting pissed off sitting here talking about it.

true but the rest of the year we have TOURISTS that more the double the population of valley, most of which drive around with their head buried in their phone on yelp or trip adviser to find where the best "local" or "authentic" spot to eat is or the next tourist trap they want too go to. If its not one of those things its a environmentalist in a Subaru with coexisit and Obama stickers all over it, or a tour-on in a rented Subaru driving 15 under looking all about with their eyes on everything BUT the road. Because we have snow here the prius is less common, your issues with prius(i) we have with subarus, and not cool ones with turbos, nope its out backs and base engine legacy's with the occasional forester thrown in. Though I did get behind a 2.5rs about 2 weeks ago the insisted on running 35-52 in a fucking 70 on clean, clear, dry roads, with snow on either side, with a bunch of CA-esque bumper sticker plastered all over the back. The biggest issue is that this was at 430ish when there is just enough on coming traffic to make using a passing zone tricky.

Starting tonight and into tomorrow we're getting freezing rain. I suspect it'll lead to what I call Avalanche Day: the day that we all get to see what Chevy Avalanches (YMMV, think large 4x4x4 door driven without regard for Newton's laws.) look like when they're upside-down in a ditch. Where I live they sometimes have diplomat plates, but usually it's a full-dress suburbanite in a windbreaker and no hat. No hats for the kids, either.
Stupid. It's "dress to walk" season.

Not to monopolise the thread but since I'm logged on anyway:
I find a good way to keep my blood pressure down is to check what kind of car in front or behind me. If a car near me is an appliance car (Corolla, Hyundai, Cobalt, Prius, F-ing Ford Windstar) it'll more than likely be driven by somebody that doesn't do their best to drive well. Their choice of car tells me that they drive to go from A to B, and have no interest in driving as a life-saving activity.
I'm sorry to hear mrsleeves' Subaru woes. Where I live Subarus are driven by people that have noticed that it snows here and they'd best be prepared.
Thanks, I'm done. Time to read the newspaper.

Sitting at a light, nobody behind me (important) waiting to go straight. There's a car on the opposite side waiting to turn left. The light turns green and they have to jump out and make the left in front of me even though I have the right of way.

Like I said, nobody behind me. I can see if there is a line of cars that could hold them up or worst case make them miss the light. But when it's just one or two cars to wait for it's that "me first" attitude that really pisses me off.
