I resort to using the plunger about 90% of the time and it's not like im rocking the boat here. So if I'm short on time, I have to take into consideration how long I'll have to act like a plumber to make sure I'm not late.

Or not even if it gets clogged, but just doesn't flush all the way and you have to wait for the bowl to fill back up before a second attempt.

i have been avoiding posting directly on the topic in this thread because i like to keep a positive attitude at all times and i don't hate anything.

with that said, those retarded hoes annoy the crap out of me too. there is actually a thread about this already.

my suggestion for stupid chicks:

1) fuck them and never call them again

2) as you are sitting accross from one on a first date, get up, walk away from the table and drive home-stick her with the check. if she calls/texts asking wtf???, tell her she is too fucking stupid to waste any more of your life being in the presence of.

I hate craigslist now. Nobody wants to "confront" anyone, even via texts. I hate it when people go silent on you when you're in the middle of a deal. I'm trying to buy a certain car and I set up all my ducks in a row and about to head to their place when the guy won't pick up his phone anymore. WTF?! I fucking hate windows 8.

Vista was garbage, so they released 7 which was supposed to fix what was wrong with vista, but really did nothing and was really slow. Now windows 8 came out and is the worst OS yet.

When I first bought this laptop with Win8, I was surprised with the whole smartphone-like interface. Surely they must've been high out of their minds when they thought that a laptop or desktop computer should be set up like a touch screen phone with a tiny screen? Either way, classic shell to the rescue to return it to normal. Then on top of that, everything would open in full screen without menus. I don't know how someone is supposed to exit them if they didn't know the Alt+F4 shortcut, but I have the fullscreen crap mostly dealt with now.

On top of that, every time I start the computer up it tells me I need to restart it again to install updates. Didn't I just restart you? why don't you just install everything now?
Plus the "Oh, you have 20 tabs open in firefix and are in the middle of writing a long email? We're restarting now. Fuck you." I can't believe someone decided this was going to be a "Feature." I mean, there's no way around it other than to disable it in regedit, which worked fine for a while...

Also, 3 times now when it tried to update to Win8.1 or install some large update, it will semi-brick the laptop and take a full day to repair itself to where it was pre-update. This conveniently happens on a weekend in the morning so I have no computer for a day. This stopped happening for a few months after the "NoAutoRebootWithLoggedOnUsers" Regedit fix.


Tonight, even with that fix in place, and since the previous attempts to update to Win8.1 went so great, it was going to force an update whether I liked it or not. It didn't matter that I had 30-some tabs open, excel, notepad, and a few folders open, It was going to update.

It eventually shut me down, and after 3 hours of watching percentage bars slowly climb with labels like "Installing updates" "configuring setting" "One more thing" "getting things ready" "we're setting up for you now" etc. I'm back up and it worked (relatively speaking.)

I just have to figure out why it thinks I don't have speakers, even with the driver installed and everything enabled. Also, why youtube/videos don't seem to play anymore.

Windows 8 was meant to be used with a touchscreen mostly.
It flopped hardcore people got fired but the next one will be much better.
