taking off as the sun is coming up, watching the sunrise out the cockpit windows ... the air is usually still nice and smooth and the radios are quiet.

What makes me happy now? I'm home, I'm staying home, I have a comfy chair to watch my own private arboretum grow, I no longer need a biggy passport and I have a fun little car in the garage.
My daughter didn't get hurt last weekend when she wrote off my POS Altima.

Edit, After an hour of tears and apologies, my daughter (who knew how much I hated the POS Altima), said " I did it for you, Daddy." Yeah, OK, so I laughed. You can't be stern all the time.
