well, if houses cost that much around here, i wouldn't be doing it either. why don't you look for properties outside of town or in neighboring ones? i would bet that somewhere within 2hours of you is some sort of property you can afford. we belong to an investment group that finds the houses we buy. they take a fee for their service. so far it has worked out well.

Yes, prices are absurd here. The lowest resaleable detached home within 3 hours of here is about $300k or so.

have you looked at buying land? maybe you could split up a small tract and build 3 or 4 homes on it?

When I take a dump and someone goes into the bathroom and unleashes a slew of profanity it makes me laugh and smile hahaha happened earlier today. Being able to help people at work and being comfortable with life and the future makes me really happy too. Obviously the e30. Most food, good movies, back scratches, showers, teaching someone something that they really are excited about or shocked that they never knew it. Learning new skills and becoming more useful, and also sitting back and playing GTA or something with friends for a while after the sun goes down. Good music, manual transmissions, wide open fields, mountains, riding bikes, dreaming about e36 m3's and cheap streetfighter jap bikes I may be able to afford one day. Hanging with friends of course. Exploring cities alone with music and a backpack with water and snack food. Waiting patiently for something and finally recieving it/ earning it, especially sleep after a late night at work or a physically strenous day. Going to the gym and eating after a couple hours when the metabolism spike hits. Tons more but gotta go to sleep

For example, here is my property assessment for 2015, assesst in July 2014.



The house is worth squat, it's the land. We are jammed between the Pacific on the west, the border to the south, the mountains to the north, and the agricultural land reserve to the east. There is no land.

I need to sell my shit and move to Ecuador, or someplace cheap, and drink beer for the rest of my life.
