Just had to put my childhood dog down :(

She's been suffering from seizures so we had her on meds and she had to be on so many they destroyed her liver. I know her quality of life was terrible but damn it was so hard to put her down.

Here's her moments before they came in to put her down. She hadn't eaten in a week due to a UTI which was caused by the failing liver. This is hands down one of the hardest things I've done. Like losing a family member.

not a dog but my little brother had a cat that came to our doorstep the day after he came home from the hospital and he died 18yrs later a week after he got out of high school he was pretty torn up about it.

Its a hard thing to do, a good pet is every bit as much family as anyone else....... Sorry man I know its a hard thing to do, I dont know how I am going to do it when the time comes for either my dog or my kittah

I'm a grown ass man and am tell you no lie, me and everybody in the family and neighbors were all in tears when my dog Isa RIP had to go. :(

My dad a 50 year old man whom I've never seen shed a tear. Cried like a baby. He loved that dog.

I dread the day when we have to put one/both of our dogs down. They give so much love and ask for nothing in return. Well with the exception of a tasty meal at 7:30 a.m.and again at 5:30 pm. :)

We seriously feed them better than many humans eat on a daily basis.

I'm sorry to hear that. Back in 2007 I had to put down my 11 year old dachshund and I know soon I'll ha e to put down my 17 year old dachshund.

It WAS the hardest thing I've had to do. Again, I'm sorry to hear this.

Sorry man, had to do the same last year with our 12 year old lab/pit mix. Hardest thing for sure.
