Thank you. All of you. Here she is before she went down hill about 8 months ago. It progressively got worse.

Oh my what a beautiful dog. Such warm eyes and so attentive.

I have to stop looking at this thread as it makes me sad.

And I gotta stop thinking about it and looking at pics. As gay as it it could sound the only way to describe her was a sweet heart. She was my moms "princess".

Sorry to hear this, my condolences. My bro was in Vegas the day we had to put his childhood dog down. I know he felt horrible he couldn't be there for her.

A friend's dog recently passed and she posted these soothing words

I feel you 100%. I was there last year with my 14 year old sheltie that I picked out of the litter when I was 15.

She was the coolest shit ever, EVERYBODY loved her because she just had this way of wiggling in, and howled like an F1 car shifting. It was by far and large one of the hardest things on the planet burying her. So many stories with her in them.

Here's a picture of her sleeping in the lawn that I took a couple months before she went downhill overnight.

*sigh*.. All the feels and a little weep. Miss her dearly. Don't care if r3v, hugs sent your way y0.

My Condolense. My eyes are watery just reading this. I went through the same months back so I know how you feel. My wife can tell you she never seem me cry until that day when I held him until his last breath when they injected him. It's a very tough thing to do.

I know how it is... I recently lost a childhood friend too.. I suppose being 17 I'm still a kid but I've had the dog since I first remember pretty much anything.. They all end up in a better place in the end... Last picture I ever took of my dog. Almost 5 months ago but still very fresh in my mind... My condolences go out to you. Thanks guys and yes they are very good dogs. Never hurt a fly and always listened even if a squirrel was feet away. She tried her hardest to be a hunting dog but it just didn't work haha. Yes this is a nice treat from r3v no trolling

                                That's because I haven't posted yet.

I'm sorry for your loss, I have a beloved family dog that is the exact same way, she loves the idea of being a hunting dog, but was always too gun shy. I know she will be gone in the next few years. It's amazing the love dogs offer.
