Vintage gas pump - Worth anything?

Hey guys, my dad was gonna scrap this pump, which is why the front/top piece is bent - he had it flattened out, but I'm wondering if it would be worth selling. It seems pretty complete, but would need a bit of refurbishing. Not too much in the way of rust, except the base plate which is destroyed - but it wouldn't be hard to make a new one. The front/top piece should be pretty easy to bend back a bit more. The dial will need to be redone. I have the motor, plumbing, and gas pump handle, but didn't bother taking pics.

I'd probably just give it to someone if they wanted it.

Clean it up and little and it would look great as a decoration in the garage. Vintage auto stuff is very cool/collectible

I might clean it up a little, but I don't really have a use for it, and we have WAY too much stuff as it is. I'd really rather just give it to someone and get it out of the barn. The inside of the pump looks really clean though, so I don't think it would be too hard to get it working. Hmm... I definitely won't throw it out though.

After watching too much American Pickers I can say that in that condition and without the glass dome on top it isn't worth all that much. Throw it up on ebay or craigslist and see what people will offer. I'd guess you're probably looking at about $100 unless it's something super rare.

I would just put the dial back on and work a little on the top and door. Just turn it into a car washing/maintenance supply closet.

its certainly better than scrap/trash. i would say repurpose it into something cool or sell it to someone for parts.

I guess I'll hang onto it, and clean it up and sell it when I have time. It wouldn't be a huge project, but I've got so much other shit to do and shit to get rid of (you guys wouldn't believe the amount of stuff around here) I don't know when I'll get around to it. I need to swap the engine in my E30 this fall, and then I need to learn to weld, and get the metal work done on my Z this winter/spring. And my Jetta needs a little rust repair too.

Could make for a sweet kegerator. But I'll let someone else do that.

Make it into a beer tap take the case hold the beer and then use the hose and pump handle to get you beer.
