Well a celebrity died that i actually care about

Tom Magliozzi bantered weekly with his brother, Ray, on the public radio show. They joked, laughed and sometimes even gave good advice to listeners with car troubles. Tom Magliozzi was 77 years old.

Sad. Listening to this show on weekends with my dad was a part of my childhood.

Yeah, floored me today when I heard. Sucks. But I also heard that they're gonna play reruns for eternity.

So, thanks Tom, I laughed a LOT with you.

My father passed away last year after a tough fight with cancer. Some of my fondest memories of him involve working on some sort of project around the house, garage, or workshop on Saturday mornings, with NPR playing in the background, waiting for car talk to come on, and listening and laughing along with those two.

I gained my love of cars, building things, and working with my hands from my father, but click and clack were always in the background lightening the mood, and sharing their joy, passion, and wit with the world.

Those mornings meant a lot to me, and Car Talk was a part of it.

^ i to share this sentiment, we as a family worked on cars, listened on road trips, and I was always excited to hear their banter. A loss for sure. I hope some of his family sees what his fans write of him.

Tommy was one in a million. I think I've been listening to Car Talk since forever.

Here is their website - http://www.cartalk.com/

Their ramblings and wisdom about people and cars were unmatched / best show ever.

I'll miss laughing my ass off !
