    Car Ad Pet Peeve

    *Rant Warning*

Okay, I acknowledge there are a lot of clueless peeople out there. For example, just because your dash lights up automatically doesn't mean your headlights are on. Ugh.

Anyway, I've been searching for 325IXs lately and keep seeing post after post of 2000+ cars advertised as IX instead of XI. I mean, you actually own and drive the vehicle on a daily basis and have presumably walked behind it at some point or another. How do they not know what the drive? Just annoying.

Anyone else experience this pet peeve?

Not really a pet peeve, but when looking for Camaros I often have to spell it Camero to see all that's for sale.

To their defense, before bmw moved onto "x-drive" they switched it to XI instead of IX, like on the e90 chassis

That bothers me a bit, but the one that gets me the most is when they don't have basic info like mileage or what kind of transmission is in the car. Also when they say a car has a "manuel" transmission.

The switch you describe only applies to people who know that it used to be IX and in that case are likely the kind of poeple to know the difference.

I'm just tying to play devils advocate, it bothers me too

Another peeve is when they put "rare" in the description of an e30, when it's a bronzit eta

                              doesn't "k" represent "thousand"?

technically they are right, as the e30's are slowly dying off and harder to find
If it's got tits or tires, it's gonna cost ya!
