    Has anyone used ebay.de?

After a few years of waiting, I FINALLY found a replacement wheel on ebay.de to complete my set. I know this is probably seller specific, but have any of you ordered from the German ebay? I've contacted the seller to see if he can quote shipment here to the US so we'll see how that goes.

Another thing I've considered, do any of you living in Germany (or EU for that matter) offer a service to order/receive and ship back to the states? I'm trying to find every possible way to get this final piece to complete my set. The only member off the top of my head that may be able to help me is AC Nico.

Most will require a direct deposit into a German bank account, usually via a Wire Transfer. A select few will use Paypal, but they are hard to locate

I've bought lots of stuff on ebay.de over the years. Some speak broken english, others only speak german, which through a translator is usually doable.

Things to keep in mind though, Wire Transfer fee's.. some banks charge anywhere from $25 - $75 dollars per wire.. plus they usually use a non favorable foreign exchange rate.

That, plus shipping, a good deal quickly turns into a bad one... best bet? Find someone over there (AC Nico is a prime example, i've bought stuff from him as well) and have them take care of everything for you

The eBay listing does say PayPal is accepted. I'm waitkng on both the sell and AC Nico to see what they have to say.

I've bought a few things, and they've always accepted Paypal. I have a buddy that I ship stuff to in Germany then he ships over state side.

I bought an oil pump once off a really friendly seller on ebay.de. Used google translate to translate all my messages to German and his to English and he accepted paypal. Was actually pretty painless although shipping was around $40 or so. Still not all that bad for a part I couldn't find here.

I found the missing caps to my wheels there. I Had em shipped to a family members house, and she sent them here. A lot of hard to find parts.
Looking for a 3.46 or lower LSD. Lets make a deal.

I bought a mtech 2 steering wheel and 4 azevs from ebay.de . The steering wheel was advertised as in 10/10 condition but was more like a 8/10. I told the seller and he compensated me a fair amount without me really asking. The Azevs were packed nicely and came to my door without a hitch. Both sellers only wanted to ship locally but with some nice coaxing they agreed to ship to San Diego. I don't know if there's some code but buying from individuals like you and I who can make a presentable ad probably will make for a fair transaction.

Glad you're getting the hook! I guess this comment is for others.
