We probably got another couple feet overnight. View out my front window right now is basically a whiteout.

Weirdest thing about this is the lightning lighting up the sky and night and the thunder.

Right now it's powder thank god. It would be amazing skiing if you could get anywhere.

It's been snowing all morning at my house and we have almost 4 feet now. I can't imagine how it is in the places that had 6 feet going into last night.

Also it's supposed to be like 50 at the beginning of next week so all this is probably going to melt and flood the fuck out of Buffalo.

Sheesh! Thats a lot of snow. Youd have to outside shoveling/snow blowing every 30 minutes to keep up with that.

Would of been fun to try

^actually this happened because of global warming.

The average temperatures are higher, longer. “The general notion is that, as the climate warms and the lakes hold their warmth longer into the fall, you’re going to see a lot more lake-effect snow until it’s too warm to have much snow."

Granted this storm was also from the ripple effects of a typhoon near Asia, though with global warming many more of these odd events are likely to take place. Until mid century, is predicted, rain will likely take the place of snow

So the plethora of historically documented winter storms in your area that predate CFC's and mass CO2 discharges are a result of global warming as well right??
