Well, first of, I can tell you that screen printing and heat transfer are completely different. What did you need to know?

I have a screen printing shop. What's your question?

Like nitro said, those are 2 different techniques.

No I get it but ususally screen printing shops do both, why I asked with screen printing first.
Transfers on trucker hats. I need to get some low runs made. I have the hats and I own the hat press.
Need to master making the heat transfers. Anyway I can talk with one of you?

        Thanks

Heat transfers are usually cut on a vinyl plotter. Have you been doing them differently?

I did on my first attempt but it was a bit pricey, so I'm looking to cut costs.
I own the machine and just bought 400 new trucker hats on CL for half the price.
Just wanting to try to do it all, save cost so I can keep giving them to my customers for free for promotional use.

Nitro, here's what I got from my screen printer(the transfer sheets) and here's what I pressed myself and how they came out.

Yep. The correct paper, printer and do I HAVE to have the powder I'm hearing about? Or there is a way without it?

                    Thanks

Printer is going to be a few thousand, transfer material is cheap, less than $50 for 10 yards. Not sure what powder you are talking about.

I used to get all my supplies from signwarehouse.com.
