Haha, today I was out test driving an E36 M3 just for fun...had to take it up the back of mount soledad just to make sure everything was in order, the typical Italian tuneup at the request of the salesman.
As I got back down to the bottom after a healthy drive(and damn those E36's are quick compared to my poor 325is) we stopped at a light.
Sure enough we hadn't been sitting there 30 seconds when Pasha comes flying around a corner in his E30 with his windows down yelling at the top of his lungs.
Nearly gave the salesman a heart attack. I was trying not to laugh because the salesman was clearly startled by it. Pasha is rediculous. lol...
Anyways that being said, the place I test drove the M3 at is VERY anxious to get rid of it. If anyone wants a high mileage(180k) E36 M3 to make into a trackrat for cheap(they came down to 7200 with no fees while I was still there) then stop by California Imports right near garnet off the 5. Had adjustable shocks, remus exhaust, set of wheels, amongst other things but it had clearly been driven. They would probably even go lower on the price if you were persuasive.
