I have no clue. Im pretty sure 325is have chrome trim.

Thanks for clearing that up, my son bought a 91 325is and it had chrome trim, I was thinking my son got taken.

Then when I purchased my 318is it had black trim and I "thought" it was a "is" thing.

Again thanks for setting me straight. We both own 318is's now he has a S50 and I have an M50 in mine.

I like that car and I am tempted to make a move on it, did you (OP) put the new engine in it or did the seller in the ad do that?

I put the engine in it. He will take 7k. I text him today and asked him why he is elling so soon and he said he has too many cars and insurance is very high. Here is my build thread on this car. http://www.r3vlimited.com/board/showthread.php?t=330424

It has over 300k miles on it but the car really is solid.
