Have any of you guys looked into Arma 3? Im not going to lie, the realism shooters are starting to look pretty sweet, for me at least, after BF1 was announced.

I am going through the DOOM SP now and it's absolutely amazing. This is coming from an old school iD fan.

That's basically what I'm using. Found out my 3 year old set was causing my massive packet losses. Changed it but made the mistake of putting the new ones on power strips (I know you aren't supposed to).

Got it setup right, played for about an hour today without issue. It was relieving.

Eh, as long as I'm in a rental I'll use them. Once we buy our house I'll run an Ethernet line. I don't like wireless for my main machine.

EDIT: Finally got it all working.

A while back my bridge failed, so I replaced it. Idiot me put them on the power strips because it was a different design and my wall outlet didn't work to well. Did some improvising and got them plugged directly into the wall, just went from 7 mb/s to 30 mb/s.

fml. OK, PC, you can stay.

Man, I could never play support. I would either play Jung or bot because that was all I was good at lol. I played LoL for a couple years before everything started getting shitty and the new champions were fucking stupid and so were updates to previous champions.

That's the problem. Dumbasses will sit and jungle all day. And the solo safe lane has no help and loses the lane. Then it just implodes from there.

Supports are not that bad in DotA. There are only a couple "all out" supports. Most of them have a stun, a buff and an attack. The game is actually quite balanced.

I'm getting sick of my PC right now, since I haven't been gaming often lately I've literally been trying to get BF4 to work for 3 hours total.

Windows 10 "upgrade" screwed with my connection setting, to private. Thought that was blocking the connection. Fixed, nope.

Updating drivers, maybe?

Since I don't play very often I'm seriously considering going back to Console just for the convenience of it just working. I like to jump in and play for 30 minutes when I get the chance, but lately that 30 minutes is spent just getting shit to work. Downloading updates, fixing Window's little issues, staying on top of drivers. Fuck this shit.

Moba's are not fun*

I can't stand the Moba community, they are all asses and act like they are worlds material.

They can be. But not all of us are. It's about 50/50. Some people are just cancerous. Other people are really cool. Met a guy last night playing a pub match yesterday. After we got destroyed (due to feeding teammates) we partied up and ran 3 or 4 more games and had tons of fun.

MOBA's are stupid fun to play when you have friends or cool/good teammates. The thing that I like is (at least with DotA) there is no stupid OP character or Item like in games like COD or BF. Everything has a counter.

Everyone says singleplayer is good, lots are unhappy that the multiplayer isnt a classic arena shooter.
