both of those games are super dated though. like at least 5+years now right? i think they are just trying to get the point across that this game is new, and "pretty" its still in alpha so im sure once they get feedback they will tone it down but as long as they do it right, ill ditch CS:GO as im tired of the terrorist v. FREEDOM that all shooters have now.

Id say both games look perfectly fine in comparison to that, Battalion looks pretty but for UE4 its also pretty disappointing. Insurgency and Red Orchestra are using dinosaurs of engines and still look good for what they are.

I like the idea, but they need to tone down whatever post processing is in those gameplay shots jesus christ. Its like they added chromatic abrasion +1000

Well thanks to Best Buy and their trade in deal, in store credit, and sale I went the xbox route again and did so pretty cheap. Planned on buying the PS4 originally, but I got the one for next to nothing.

Well I guess I could understand that reasoning.. Have you played halo 5? How is it? I've be contemplating on getting Xbox just because of that but realized that would be very impulsive lol

Recently started playing a bit more. Friends are graduating, I'm getting old and can't drink on on school nights anymore, I've gone through every thread on r3v ever, ect... so I have free time. I've been playing GTA 5, Battlefront, Fallout and stuff on the Xbox. Thinking about returning to my roots and build a PC. Probably will get a steam account and maybe even set up another minecraft server. Anyways if anyone is on xbox or steam let me know.

Damn well if you had battlefront for ps4 I would've said let's pick up the sticks and game it

You can blame SJWs for toning down Tomb Raider, even as is they complain about Lara being too sexy. Its ridiculous.

Been playing Rise of the Tomb Raider, even though I picked up Fallout 4 last Tuesday I figured I'd knock out TR in a week, as opposed to the indefinite time I'll play F4.

I enjoy it, it's a good adventure/survival game. It's got everything such a game should have, but it just doesn't feel like TR anymore. Where's the crazy back flips off walls while auto aiming dual pistols into a T-Rex? It's just not there anymore. Even the puzzles seem really toned down, they aren't really stumping me. Maybe I spent a few minutes figuring out the first step, then it's a cakewalk. Nothing else to figure out. They're just too simple. TR Legend and Anniversary were far more fun, imo. Maybe it's nostalgia of the first 3 giving me rose glasses, I don't know. Maybe I've just played too many TR games and it's just all too familiar.

Where are the boobies too? There's like 0 cleavage in this game too. The best you get is watching her butt while she's swimming. Putting her a corner to rotate the camera to get that perfect boob angle was like half the game.

Tomb Raider Go (mobile game) is actually a very enjoyable game. I really felt like I had a legit TR experience. Wish they'd make more like that. Turn based puzzles and action that really stumped me at every turn, I really liked it.

this looks promising, i dont play modern shooters because the stupid unlocks and game ending nukes etc. just let people get good without a turret or, some bubble shield or other stupid shit.

I loved Uncharted but guns in most games are much too quiet. Ever play Black. That game had its gun sounds spot on.

Uncharted progressively got better.. Naughty dog did very well especially with the last of us.. Holy crap that was & is still a great game

But as for loud.. Hmm haven't one in a while.. I have thin walls at the place I'm at now so I hardly go for loud anymore. Oh the struggle :/
