even on my broadband connection I have at the house right now, that is stupid fast at night time, the ping times are so so slow that I get wrecked playing halo, I have seen ping while playing with guys I know live in W WA state up to 240ms at times to their city

You must have a long perception of time lol, its only been 2 years since they started legit development really.

Its scheduled for release next year. 3 years dev time is fairly normal. The Alpha universe is supposed to happen sometime this month, which will be a small portion of the galaxy you can explore and do missions etc.

If you want to talk about a game thats gone absolutely nowhere lets talk about dayz. Basically started early 2013 and have not even got core mechanics working.
